This is a 20x24 OVAL Mat that fits in 20x24 picture frames. The Oval opening is cut so that it can be used for 16x20 Photos, Art, Calligraphy, Needlework, etc. (the opening is cut slightly smaller than 16x20 so that the artwork will not fall through the opening).

The opening on the mat is CUT ON THE BEVEL!
